Renee Reynolds, is a mother, actress, singer, band leader, motivational speaker, professional photographer, entrepreneur, and the reigning Ms. Woman Pennsylvania United States 2020 and Ms. Woman Philadelphia. She is also the first runner up in the 2019 Senior Queen USA pageant. Renee also received the 2014-2015 Community Unity Award from the PA Governor's office as well as a citation from City Council and the 2016 Role Model of Excellence Award, for her continuous work in the community and always putting forth effort to help others succeed. She earned a degree in Specialized Business and Information Technology Specialist and is attending Penn State to obtain her Certification in Leadership Development. She is also a member of the National Association of Black Female Executives in Music and Entertainment, Inc. In October 2020, Renee is scheduled to represent the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection and the State of Virtue, Liberty, and Independence in the upcoming Ms. Woman United States National Pageant held in Las Vegas. She is also planning to have her annual Pink Diamond Gala Ball in November 2020.
Renee is a life long learner, who has also earned diplomas in event planning and floral design. While working under EBE, she learned how to plan events to the satisfaction of the client. Renee has many talents, one of which is her singing ability; she has performed with McFadden and Whitehead for over seven years, and also sang on a church choir. Her band, The "R" Factor Exchange, has opened for Russell Thompson, the New Stylistics, The O'Jays, Vicki Winans, and Avery Sunshine. Her band received the ISES, Rising Star and Versatility Awards. Renee is also an actress, who has appeared in the movie, Cover. She also has appeared as a singer and actress in numerous theater productions as well.
She is a lovely lady with a pleasant disposition, who goes above and beyond to help and support others. Renee is an advocate for Cancer Awareness. In 2010, Renee's sister Teal Reynolds died after battling breast cancer. Since 2013, Renee and her sisters have hosted fundraisers for the cause. She plans as well as serves as one of the hosts, for her annual Pink Diamond Gala Ball in her sisters memory, as well as to support those who have survived and/or in memory of those who lost their battle to Cancer. This year marks their 7th year anniversary. Last month, Renee’s sister, Loretta, lost her battle with breast cancer as well, a few days before her 60th birthday, and went home to be with the Lord. May she rest in peace. Our prayers and condolences are with Renee and her family.
Renee is also an advocate for Domestic Violence Awareness. She is a domestic violence survivor, who decided to enter pageants to help build self-esteem and serve as a role model for women; leading by example that you too can master your own destiny. Following her own destiny, Renee is also the owner of Babegirl Entertainment and Designs, which is an event planning, photography, DJ, live entertainment, and motivational speaker service company. Renee graciously volunteered her talent to take the photographs of the models in our first Love Exquisite Magazine issue for August 2019. Renee's favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." That scripture is so true and her life is a true testament of that fact. On September 13, 2020, Renee will begin her new journey as one of the hosts on her new radio show, Community Talk Radio. I am so proud of all of Renee's accomplishments and know that there are so many more to come. Wishing you all the best that life has to offer and continued success.
