The civil unrest continues, as another unarmed Black man was shot by the police. Last month, an unarmed Black man, Jacob Blake, was shot in the back seven times by Kenosha police officer, Rusten Sheskey in Wisconsin. Blake was said to be breaking up a fight between two women in a domestic violence situation, when police arrived and tried to arrest Blake for unknown reasons. Blake walked toward his vehicle where his children were sitting inside and as he opened his car door, the officer shot him in the back. The incident left Blake paralyzed from the waist down and still in the hospital in stable condition.
This incident occurred the night after a peaceful protest took place in Wisconsin that turned into a crime scene, after a seventeen year old was arrested and charged for first degree intentional homicide for his role in a shooting that left two people killed and a third person seriously injured.
These protests extend into the Black Community and beyond, even into the sports world, where several basketball players, soccer players, and baseball players refused to play their scheduled games to stand in solidarity. This senseless violence has to stop and the only real way to get it to stop, is by prosecuting police officers and the like, who unjustly shoot, unarmed civilians. The law should apply to everyone, despite whether or not they are police officers. We have unfortunately seen time and time again, that when police officers and the like, are not prosecuted for unjust and unlawful acts, this type of racial injustice continues.
If you never knew why it is important to Vote, know that you are voting for people who govern and enforce laws, let these unfortunate and senseless situations awaken your awareness. Show up at the Voting Polls, and VOTE in large numbers, like you show up at the protests! VOTE, NOV. 3rd! Register to Vote at Vote.org.

Award Winning Actor, Writer, Director, Chadwick Boseman, died last month after battling colon cancer for four years. Boseman got our attention in his phenomenal role as King T'Challa in the hit movie, Black Panther. It was genius of him to not take on every role that was offered to him. He hand picked the roles the were the most influential and captured the essence of his talented acting skills; winning 10 acting awards with 30 nominations. Boseman captured our hearts on screen in his roles as, James Brown in Get on Up, Jackie Robinson in the movie 42, Thurgood Marshall in Marshall, Avengers. 21 Bridges, Captain America, and Da5Bloods, to name a few. TIPS
This month, we focus on getting the perfect Arched Eyebrow look. The image above shows a white eyebrow pencil outline of how to get the perfect arched eyebrow look. First, draw a similar outline on your face, before applying your eyebrow pencil. This will allow you to know where the correct placement of the eye brow pencil should be. Clean up any excess hairs that are outside of the outline. After you have the outline, using your eyebrow pencil (whatever color, you will use to fill in your eyebrows), using your eyebrow hair line, gently outline your eyebrows to shape your brows. This will help you know not to go outside of this area when you begin to pencil in your eyebrows. After you have your outline, using angled, light brush strokes (do not press the eyebrow pencil too hard or your eyebrows will not look natural. The picture is a good indication of what pressing too hard, looks like). Use light brush strokes in the direction in which your natural eyebrow hairs grow to give the illusion of hair. After you have achieved your desired look, lightly pat your eyebrows with an eyebrow brush or your index finger to keep the eyebrow pencil natural looking. Use a tissue or your index finger to remove the white pencil outline as well as any excess eyebrow pencil.
Using a perfect eyebrow pencil and brush strokes can help you get the perfect arched eyebrow look. Try the Automatic Eyebrow Pencil with brush
