SELECT YOUR LANGUAGE

In every relationship, your mate wants to know that no matter what, you will always choose to be committed to him/her.  With all the temptation in the world that can destroy relationships, don't get distracted.  Every day make the conscience decision to choose your mate, especially if your mate is an awesome person inside and out.  You can mess up a perfectly good relationship, by making your mate feel like you are choosing to be with someone other than him/her, (someone else who is not a family member or child), or by engaging in activities on a consistent basis that do not include your mate.  When you are dating or in a relationship, You should want to make sure that your mate knows how important he/she is to you. He/She should not have to guess or assume how you feel about him/her.

In a superficial, technological world, where we have access to be with almost any man or woman we want to be with, it is admirable when you still choose your mate as the person you want to go through life with.  One of the best feelings in the world, is being with someone who chooses you, too.  Every man and woman wants someone that they choose to be in a relationship with to also choose them.  Never have your mate feeling like you don't want to be with him/her, or that you are unsure about who you want to be with.  Let him/her know by your actions that he/she is who you chose to be with.

If your relationship is not healthy, neither of you should choose to be with each other.  In unhealthy relationships, the focus should be on healing in your singleness, until you are ready to bring your best self into a relationship.  If your mate really wants to be with you, he/she will choose you over distractions.  If you are not the person your mate chooses to be with, let go of him/her and be with the person who chooses to be with you (if he/she is someone that you would choose to be with). It is not always easy to move on when you love someone.  However, you might find that moving on is the only way you'll get to be the chosen one, with someone else who doesn't hesitate about choosing to be with you.
