Broadcaster and former MLB player, Tim McCarver, passed away from heart failure at the age of 81.

Actress, Rachel Welch, passed away from causes not reported. She was 82.

Singer, Spencer Wiggins, passed away at the age of 81, from causes not reported.

Legendary hip-hop artist, David "Trugoy the Dove " Jolicoeur, passed away from causes not reported at the age of 54. He previously experienced heart congestion concerns.

Composer, Burt Bacharach, passed away at the age of 94, from causes not reported.

NBA player, Demetrius Calip, passed away from causes not reported at the age of 53.

TU Police Officer, Christopher Fitzgerald, was shot and killed in the line of duty at the age of 31.

Glowing Skin

Taking care of your skin is important, we're discussing it again this month. You are what you eat, so be mindful of what you put in your body, because what you eat can affect your skin. Eating sugary, fatty foods can cause the skin to either become oily or dry, depending on your normal skin type. Excessively consuming alcohol can also cause oily or dry skin. Excessively consuming soda can cause acne problems. Assess what your normal skin type is to determine how your skin could be affected by the foods you eat and what you drink. If you have oily skin, use warm water when cleansing your body, apply an astringent toner to cleanse the face, which will help dry out your skin. Apply a good moisturizer after cleansing the face.

If you have dry skin, it is important to stay hydrated by drinking an adequate amount of water. Use an oil based or cream lotion to lubricate the skin and apply a good moisturizer to your skin. Soaps can dry out the skin, so it is better to use a moisturizing body wash.
