Franchella Simmons, is a Christian, mother, wife, entrepreneur, actress, director, writer, t.v. radio host, producer, and artist manager, who is well known in Philadelphia’s business, entertainment, and social services community.  She is a West Philadelphia native, who earned a B.S. in Accounting degree from St. Joe’s University.  As a child, she was always passionate about pursuing a career in the entertainment industry and works with her husband, Anthony “Tony” Simmons, as an artist manager for Jet Plane Boyz Entertainment.  Jet Plane Boyz Entertainment was founded in 2011, and helps give local talent a platform to perfect their craft and showcase their talent.  Franchella and Tony also works together on a Facebook Live Show called, Just Like That, where they share relationship tips about how to find and stay in love, as well as share travel tips as they are both world travelers.  Franchella is also the host of an internet-based radio show, Real Recognize Real Talk Radio, which airs live every 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7pm EDT on Philly Hott Radio’s YouTube channel and mobile app.  The radio show gives local artist, entrepreneurs, filmmakers, and authors a platform to discuss their projects as well as perform live.  She also previously served as co-host for a live, interactive TV show that aired live on Verizon and Comcast called, Like It Is, and is associate producer for the hit web series, Single and Anxious, which is available on Amazon Prime.  Franchella also produced and directed the hit, sold out stage play, Olivia Lost and Turned Out.  In 2018, Franchella wrote, produced and directed the phenomenal, sold out stage play, Twisted Seasons, which she is working towards developing into a feature film. 
Franchella is also founder of a female social group called, Diamond Divas, whose mission is to empower and inspire women to a live a life of passion, purpose, success and encourage them to explore their own individuality, while promoting a sense of good health and well-being.  Each year, Diamond Divas engage in several initiatives to help the less fortunate, giving “Lunch Bags of Love” to the homeless, and adopting a family at Christmas to bless with gifts of love.  Franchella’s mission in life has always been to inspire, empower, and encourage people by informing and educating them to be their best self.  Franchella is motivated by her dreams, as well as by her faith in God that her dreams are coming to fruition.   She is a hardworking, passionate, driven, and dedicated woman, who perseveres and does not let any obstacles stop her from achieving her goals.  Her hard work does not go unnoticed, she has been the recipient of several awards, notably, The Career Woman Award, The Putting In Work Award, and the Extraordinary Entrepreneur Award.  Last year, she launched her first annual Laughter 4 the Soul Comedy Show, which was also a sold-out success and we look forward to the second Comedy Show this year, featuring the legendary Comedian Chris Thomas on May 29, 2020 at 7pm at the Venice Island Performing Arts Center in Philadelphia, PA.  Get your tickets now, because this show will sell out.  We are proud to highlight Franchella Simmons in the Love Exquisite Magazine on the first of this new year and pray that she has continued success in 2020 and beyond!
