The Empowering Word of the Month for February 2024 is, Power.

Power is not about controlling something in a negative or bad way.  It is about having the ability to govern your mind and behaviors in a manner that is respectful, considerate, ethical, and maturely.  Power is being able to control your own mental state of mind and emotions, even under pressure or duress.  It takes someone who has control of themselves, to be able to show themselves powerful.

It takes a strong and intelligent person to possess power. I am not talking about the power to control someone else, I am talking about the power to control yourself.  It takes a strong and mentally mature person to be able to relinquish power, when it is time to follow versus lead.  Having power like this is powerful, because if you are not careful, you could use this power for evil and that is not good.

Having power over your thoughts, and actions is critical to being able to cope with life stressors.  It is the peace of mind that cannot be disturbed, because you have the power to control how you react to every circumstance.  Don't try to control others, try to control yourself and watch how far that power takes you.   Power is the empowering word of the month for February.
