Yolanda also recently launched her own Podcast, which you can follow her on her YouTube channel, Yolanda Nelson. She is passionate about helping people and that is a part of what she does in her daily life on the job.  She is also working on her own television show, The Yolanda Nelson show, as well as writing children's books, and her first stage play.  Yolanda has always been a huge supporter of my endeavors as well and has written articles for Love Exquisite Magazine.  For our December issue, she wrote an article to help the ladies out when they get that phone call in "cuffing season," titled, Baby, It's Cold Outside, which is listed below.  Thank you and we wish you much success in all of your endeavors!  Congratulations, God Bless and Much Success!

Baby It’s Cold Outside

"The leaves are turning colors, the air is crisp, and the days are becoming shorter.  Winter is coming and just like Mother Nature, when the insects, birds and animals prepare for winter, some people start to prepare as well. This preparation goes a little like this....

You get a call from him, someone who hasn’t called in months or even years, and all of a sudden he misses you and just wants to talk and maybe chill, if you're not busy.  Well, it has begun! Cuffing season when the mild mannered man is looking for a female to shack up with for the winter months.

Yeah, you’ll get the promises that it will be better this time and he'll even say, Just let me show you how I can do it right.  You on the other hand, are thinking about all the nights it would be really good laying next to a warm body and you can’t quite remember why you broke up anyway.  Ask your girlfriend, she’ll be happy to remind you of all the details.

However, because there is a part of you that has cuffing in your blood, you agree and say why not!  It could be good.  Slowly you begin to remember why you decided not to be with him in the first place.  Usually around December (not my research, but it’s true) certainly before Valentine’s Day it’s over because guess what Summer is coming and who wants to be tied down to a relationship in summer?   Not Mr. Mild mannered cuffer!

Now, if you are "down" then by all means enjoy the winter lover, but protect your heart (please let me know how you do this?) and then enjoy the now! Live your best cuffed life!  However, if this is not what you want.....just block him when he calls and keep it moving. You know you deserve better anyway."- Yolanda Nelson
