Is Kanye Preaching the true Gospel or Just making a
Joyful Noise?

Hip-Hop Artist, Kanye West, is now spreading his gospel around the world with an extremely talented musical choir, who we know now as Sunday Service, led by choir director, Jason White, who supports Kanye by sharing their vocal talents that tie in with his messages. It apears that Kanye turns his songs, as well as others into inspirational messages, which is pure marketing genius. It is reported that Kanye wanted to change all of his music into gospel music. It was also reported in a Rolling Stone article, that Kanye believed that God gave him the idea of doing different music Afterall, Snoop Dogg did have one of the best selling gospel albums after collaborating with several known gospel artists on his album, Bible of Love. Despite the reason behind this new shift in Kanye's life, I am sure it helps him cope better with life stressors, after losing his mother back in 2007.
In an interview with David Letterman, a while back, Kanye discussed his struggle and diagnosis of dealing with mental health challenges (manic episodes of bipolar disorder.) I guess his new outlet to help him cope with mental health challenges is his new faith walk. I can't think of a better way to help regulate your mind, than to focus on Jesus, not Ye'sus. I like when people make changes in life for the better.
On. Nov 17th, Kanye and his choir held a speaking engagement at Pastor, Joel Osteen's, who some refer to as one who preaches the "prosperity gospel," church in Texas. Despite what some think about this transition in Kanye's life (from secular to gospel), if he is winning souls the right way for Christ and preaching from the Bible, I say, "Go 'head, get down." If he is not, the Lord will handle him accordingly. In the meantime, Thou shall not judge. Prayers are with you Kanye on your spiritual journey, may it all lead people who do not know Him, to the one true God.

We couldn't let this year go by without acknowledging actress, singer, model, activist, Diahann Carroll, who died on October 4, 2019 after battling with breast Cancer at the age of 84. She is best known for her long-standing role in the hit television show, Dynasty. To name a few, she also starred in Porgy an Bess, Carmen Jones, Julia, A Different World, Claudine, Sister Sister, Eve's Bayou, and won her first Tony Award as Best Actress in a musical, No Strings. The list is quite extensive for all the roles that she has played since the age of 18. Throughout her career, Mrs. Carroll won and was nominated for several other awards as well. She was the first African American actress to show the world that African American women did not have to be type cast into playing servants or displayed in other derogatory ways. She was a beautiful diva on and off screen. Her beauty did not go unnoticed, it is reported that she had a nine year marital affair with legendary actor, Sidney Poitier.
Diahann Carroll is truly a pioneer, who paved the way for African American actresses to play dynamic, powerful roles on stage, as well as in tv and movies. She is also the founding member of an organization called, Celebrity Action Council, which is a volunteer group that consist of celebrity women who work with the Los Angeles Mission helping women overcome, alcoholism, drug addiction and prostitution.
She is truly an inspiration to all women actresses and will truly be missed. Rest well and thank you for your amazing contribution to the entertainment industry.

TIPS
This month we focus on applying Blush to the cheek bones. Before applying any kind of make-up to the face, you want to make sure that you cleanse your face prior to applying makeup with a safe and gentle facial cleanser.
