JANICE PLEAS

Janice pic 4.jpg

Janice Pleas is a retiree who grew up in the North Philadelphia and Germantown areas.  She gives back to the community by supporting many community initiatives to combat poverty and violence.  She was raised by her mother and father and from their example she understands the importance of having the support and love of a family unit.  She spent 40 years of her life happily married to her husband, Lucius Pleas.   Janice also values the importance of education and attended a community college as well as a four-year private University, where she studied accounting.  She has always excelled in math and science.  Janice has over 18 years of experience in the financial and banking industries and enjoys helping others in any way that she can.

Janice is also a philanthropist, who donates to several different charities and volunteers her time when she can.  She is also an active member of the L.E.A.R.N. Center’s Nonprofit Board, as well.  In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, watching wresting, playing tennis, vacationing, dancing, and spending time with friends and loved ones.  Having lost special people very near and dear to her heart, she has become wiser, stronger, and more independent.  She has a heart of gold, keeps a tight circle of friends and family, and served as a caretaker for several different members of her family.  In social settings, Janice is usually the life of the party, especially when she dances to one of her favorite songs, Jackal the Bear’s song, For Real.

Through her journeys in life, she has developed strength, character, and an even greater faith and love for God.  Janice is a free thinker who enjoys a good laugh and gives sound advice when asked.  Although, unsung people like Janice may never get mainstream media exposure for her good works, we think it is important to tell the world about people like her, as we continue to feature people who are doing great things in our magazine each month.  It is with great pleasure that we honor and celebrate, Janice Pleas, in the Love Exquisite Magazine.  We are delighted to feature Janice in the September 2022 issue of the magazine and Thank You for all that you do!  Keep Doing Great Things, Queen!  We applaud and appreciate you for your selfless service to others.  THANK YOU!
