NBA:

 

 On August 1, 2022,  Bill Russell passed. REST IN PEACE BILL RUSSELL!!!!  The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2022 Enshrinement Weekend will take place on September 9-11 in Springfield, Massachusetts.  There are 16 honorees, Manu Ginoblli, Tim Hardaway, Bob Huggins, George Karl, Hugh Evans, Lindsay Whalen, Swin Cash, Marianne Stanley, Lou Hudson, Larry Costello, Del Harris, Theresa Shank Grentz, Wyatt Boswell, Inman Jackson, and Albert Pullins.  CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

 

WNBA:

 

There are four teams remaining in the semifinals.  Chicago Sky (vs) Connecticut Sun and the Seattle Storm (vs) Las Vegas Aces.  Only two teams will make it into the 2022 Finals that take place on September 20, 2022.  MAY THE BEST TEAM WIN!!!!

 

**WNBA player Brittany Griner of The Phoenix Mercury remains in Russian Prison after pleading guilty to a drug charge. Brittany has been in prison since February, 2022.  Brittany was sentenced to 9 years in jail.  Friends and Fans continue to support Brittany and her family and pray for her release.  FREE BRITTANY!!!!!!

 

BIG 3 BASKETBALL:

 

The Big 3 Basketball Back to Back Champions are Team Trilogy.  Trilogy defeated Team Power (51-35).  Team Trilogy players are James White, Earl Clark, Amir Johnson, Isaiah Briscoe, David Hawkins, and Coach Stephen Jackson.  Each player earned $10,000.00.  CONGRATULATIONS!!

 

NFL:

 

The Philadelphia Eagles struggled in the pre-season.   They went 1-2.  Winning a game, (vs) The Cleveland Browns.  The team lost to The Jets (24-21) and the Dolphins (48-10).  The starters did not play in the last game and it showed.  We got beat BADLY.  I hope this is not an indication of what’s to come.  On September 11, the Eagles open regular season playing The Detroit Lions at 1pm.  On September 19, the Eagles will play The Vikings in a night game at 8:30pm.  The final game in September is with Washington at 1pm.  LET’S GO EAGLES!!!!!!!!!

MLB:

 

The Philadelphia Phillies are in 3rd place in the National League East.  The team is set to enter into post season after 11 years.  Fans are excited and can’t wait.  It’s been a long time coming.

MLS:

 

The Philadelphia Union remains in first place.  The team has 4 games in September.  Union (vs) New York on September 3, Union (vs) Orlando on September 10, Union (vs) Atlanta on September 17, and Union (vs) C.F. Pachuca on September 25, 2022.  LET’S GO UNION!!!!!!

 

TENNIS:
