Suicide Prevention and
Awareness Month

Performance Art

September is Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month. Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month provides a dedicated time for people, organizations, and communities to come together to share the message that there is hope, help, and healing available for people contemplating suicide.

Suicidal thoughts, much like mental health conditions, can affect anyone regardless of age, gender or background. In fact, suicide could be the result of an untreated mental health condition. Suicidal thoughts should not be considered normal, and often indicate more serious issues.
