SMITH
Exghty aka Mel Smith is an aspiring artist and entrepreneur, born and raised in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. He started pursuing music and making music videos with friends from the "8 Block" (which he refers to as the neighborhood where he grew up). In 2015, to his music credit, he and his brother, Anthony "Geno" Smith, collaborated on a single called "The Birds are Chirping" which has been played all over the world. Their hit song became a viral sensation, gaining over 3 million views, and also airs on the Music Choice Channel on Comcast.
Over the years, Exghty (pronounced as 80) performed at numerous local venues and engages the audience with his crafty, skilled lyrics and dope beats. He also performed live on the Real Recognize Real Talk Radio Show as well. With his wit, talent and charm, he is definitely a crowd pleaser with the ladies. Exghty, Geno, producer Dell Beats, and videographer, Bobby Blanco, have collaborated and released several music videos, singles, and mixtapes on multiple social media sites and digital music platforms.
Exghty has also rocked the stage with Joey CoStar at the Acana African Music Festival at Penn's Landing in Philadelphia. He is an extremely talented artist who has won several talent competitions. This year, he won the “PHILLY LIVE HIP-HOP Award." He is currently working on new music and has launched his own clothing line called, M.O.O.D., which stands for Manifesting Our Own Destiny. You can support his music projects through all digital music platforms and purchase M.O.O.D. attire by contacting him directly on either Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Snapchat at Exghty215. I am so proud of all of Exghty's accomplishments and proud to honor him as my cousin, phenomenal hip-hop artist, and all around cool human being in our November 2020 issue of the Love Exquisite Magazine. It is our honor to feature you. Keep Rising, King!
