WNBA
The WNBA signed an 11‑year media rights deal with Versant, which will see USA Network air at least 50 games annually starting in 2026. The agreement includes regular season matchups, Wednesday night doubleheaders, select playoff games, and the WNBA Finals. Shout out to Philly's own Kahlea Cooper! Phoenix is in the Championship!
This expansion visibility comes as the league also approaches a key collective bargaining negotiation with its players
The 2028 Women’s Final Four is being relocated from Gainbridge Fieldhouse to Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The move opens up space for around 13,000 additional spectators and marks the return of the event to an NFL venue.
NBA
LeBron James, as he heads into what may be his final seasons, recently affirmed he won’t delay retirement just to play alongside his son Bryce. However, he didn't mention a retirement date.
Embiid & George both can return to the game. If they stay relatively healthy, the Sixers have a chance to bounce back. McCain’s, as a young guard is in recovery, and, dependent on how well he heals, his integration into the game will be important, especially since guard depth took a hit.
The Sixers kept much of the same core, but there’s room (and a desperate need for) supplementary pieces or trade upgrades, especially in frontcourt depth and on defense.
MLB
Major League Baseball is experiencing a spike in viewership, especially for Sunday Night Baseball, which has seen a 21% boost this season. The Philadelphia Phillies made the Playoffs. Let's Go Phils!!!
NFL
We are off to a great start in Football. The Philadelphia Eagles are in the top with 4-0, which is perfect. Let's keep up the momentum and get us another Super Bowl this year. Congratulations to the entire Philadelphia Eagles team! E.A.G.L.E.S. Eagles!!!
BOXING
Zuffa Boxing, backed by UFC’s Dana White, is entering the boxing world with its own championship belts and a push to elevate the sport’s global profile.
