Well, football season has arrived!  Yes, Tis' the season for football! In football news....

PHILADELPHIA SOUL

The Philadelphia Soul won The Arena Bowl Championship for the second straight year.  On Saturday, August 26 2019, the Soul defeated Tampa Bay Storm (44-40).  The Soul was led by their Quarterback, Dan Raudabaugh.  Radaubaugh played on a sore knee after getting hit in the second quarter.  After the game, Radaubaugh was diagnosed with a torn ACL.  The Soul is owned by Former Eagles Player, Ron Jaworski.  GREAT JOB SOUL!!!!!!!

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

The Philadelphia Eagles had a rough pre-season. However, it appears that we are going to be okay in the 2019-2020 season.  We took a beat down with our quarterbacks during pre-season.  Eagles went through four quarterbacks during pre-season.  But, look who’s back!!! Yes, Carson Wentz is BACK.  In his first regular season returning from back injury, Carson gets a win.  The first two quarters of the game didn’t go so well.  At the end of the game, the Eagles would win {32-27} against The Washington Redskins.

DeSean Jackson, former player with the Washington Redskins, exploited the Skins to give the Eagles the victory. DeSean put on quite a show catching eight passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns. Get it D'Jack and welcome back! Jackson’s plays freed up wide receiver Alshon Jeffries, wide receiver Nelson Aghalor, and tight end Zach Ertz, and they all contributed to the Eagles victory.  The team continues to regain trust in one another, so we look forward to a great season.  The Eagles are 1-2 in the regular season, losing to the Atlanta Falcons, who banged up a lot of the Eagles key players. The Eagles later suffered another loss to the Detroit Lions.  Despite the losses, we still have faith in our Championship team!  Nate Sudfeld, back-up quarterback, returned to practice.  Nate returned in limited capacity, from his fractured left wrist.   LET’S GO EAGLES!!!!!!!

GREAT JOB TO ALL THE TEAMS WHO MADE IT TO POST SEASON!!!

SHOUT OUT TO PHILLY’S OWN KHALIA COPPER- CHICAGO-SKY!!!!!

Hopefully, sometime in the near future, there will be a WNBA Team in the Philadelphia Area.  Philadelphia has a Women’s Basketball Developmental Association (WBDA) Team named The REIGN.  The WBDA was founded in 2005 by Mr. Willie McCray.  McCray had a vision of moving the sport of women’s basketball forward by creating a highly competitive league giving players who wanted to continue to compete at a high level post college, the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of scouts to hopefully generate pro contracts for the WNBA and for international markets.  The League has grown to 37 teams nationwide divided into 8 regions.  The Philly Reign was undefeated in their regular season. The team went 10-0 in the regular season play.  They were the top seed and the only unbeaten team in their division. As the top seed, the Reign secured one of only two spots remaining in the playoffs.  The Reign defeated top seed Atlanta Dream to advance to the championship games against The Toledo Threat.  Back in August, Toledo Threat defeated The Reign in the championship game.  The Philadelphia Reign played a great game.  Thank You for a GREAT SEASON!!!
