-Arts

-Theatre/Film
-Sports
-Positive Beauty Culture and Fashion
-Music
-Mental Health & Wellness
-Youth Development

-Life Skills for Workforce Readiness

in an effort to help reduce and eliminate senseless violence and crime plaguing Philadelphia, PA.  In addition, we anticipate providing life skills and computer training to develop youth and adults for workforce readiness and provide employment opportunities for people who were unemployed due to COVID-19.

On April 2, 2022, the Love Exquisite Arts and Recreation Nonprofit Center held it's first Annual Stop the Violence Philly Youth and Adult Empowerment Symposium at the Ivy Hall Mansion in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia, where attendees had the pleasure of learning from dynamic speakers from Philadelphia, PA.  The opening of the event began with a mini-skit, Think First: Life is Real, written by Lynnette Clement and acted out by Charles Freeman (Bryce), James Anastil (Cream), and Danette Clement (Gi-Gi).  The engaging and inspiring motivational speakers, Ebony Williams from Everyday Transitions discussed the topic: self-worth;  Yolanda Nelson from the Yolanda Nelson Hey Ms. Yo Show discussed the topic: self-esteem, Anthony Simmons from Jet Plane Boyz Entertainment discussed the topic: self-discipline and Rev. Stan Laws, Jr. from COFA Sports Inc. discussed the topic: self-love.  The motivational speakers received positive feedback from the engaged audience as each of the speakers spoke about their trials and triumphs and shared their experiences, knowledge, encouragement, and expertise with the audience.  Intermingled with these dynamic speakers were three amazingly talented spoken word artists, Serena Joy (music on all digital platforms), Shawn Alleyne from Pyroglyphics Studio, and Henderson Sealy aka Hendi from the West Indies from EPR Universal, LLC), who helped to make this event even more spectacular with their powerful poetic word play.  Some highlights from the event can be watched via this YouTube video linked below:  https://youtu.be/KT6p2dZItjU

The next event is, Painting with a Purpose: Love, which will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Painting with a Twist in the Andorra Shopping Center.  Tickets can be purchased via this link.
