Eric Thompson is a husband, father, media coach and entrepreneur, who was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA.  He is the visionary of Live and Direct Media Group, which has been owned and operated by Philly Hott Radio for over 10 years.  Eric’s vision is to monopolize the internet radio industry and media by saturating the market with what many deem as new and refreshing ideas that help to provide a platform for music industry lovers and the like, and have a positive impact on all audiences on a global scale.  He is a certified coach in media and the brain behind Philly Hott Radio.  Philly Hott Radio is just that “Hott,” streaming the best in music 24/7 and airing multiple, talented on-air personalities in the Overbrook radio studio.  Philly Hott Radio has a multitude of listeners across the globe wanting to listen to more than just music, so they also provide a variety of discussions on their talk shows that discuss important topics within a diverse culture.

The love of music and people had this former entertainment manager step out on faith and expand his Philly Hott Radio brand, with much success.  With the success of Philly Hott Radio, he found that the artist needed him more than he needed them.  Eric is hands-on and helps to make sure that all of the on-air personalities are up to speed with industry standards and what’s “Hott” in Philly and beyond.  He exemplifies the characteristics of a good manager with a keen sense of humor and engaging dialogue.   Eric steps in whenever needed to help ensure that the radio shows run smoothly and is a pleasure to work with at Philly Hott Radio.
