EMPOWERING MOMENT
WORD OF THE MONTH:

WORTHY

You are worthy of great things.  Self-worth is important to your mental health and well-being.  How you truly feel about yourself is displayed to others by your actions.  People who tend to have high self-worth, do not need others to validate them or to give him/her a sense of self-worth.  He/she is not fueled by the wrong kind of attention.  He/she knows that they are worthy of great things, even if no one else tells them that they are worthy.  People with a good sense of self worth, don’t need a lot of likes or followers to feel good about themselves.  They feel good about themselves because they know who they are and who created them wonderfully in His image and likeness.

You are worthy and don’t let anyone else make you feel like you are not worthy.   Even as filthy rags, you are worthy.  Even trash is recyclable.  You are worthy.  The only person that has to be convinced about your self-worth, is YOU.   You deserve the best that life has to offer, so don’t be afraid to work towards getting the best of what life has to offer.  You are worthy of achieving your goals successfully.  You are worthy.  You deserve to be happy.  You deserve to have peace.  You deserve to love and be loved.  You deserve joy.  You deserve a seat at the table, even if you have to build the table yourself.  You deserve the best in life.  You are worth it.  You have to believe that fact.

If you think that you are not worthy, because of the mistakes you may have made in the past, or because of the naysayers, or people who do not believe in you, or have said bad things against you…know that their opinions of you have no weight, when you don’t give it weight.  Their opinion has no weight or value that is greater than your own belief and value of yourself.   Believe that You are worthy, even if you don’t get the awards, the honors, the recognition, the applause, the appraisal from your parents, spouse, family or friends, or the acknowledgment or promotion from your employer, or the likes from your followers and those who are onlookers who are not officially following you, but watching your every move, while stealing your thoughts and ideas; despite any of that, know that you are still worthy.  If your mother or father never told you that you are worthy or that they are proud of you, know that you are still worthy.  If your husband or wife never told you that you are worthy and that he/she is proud of you, know that you are still worthy.  If your teachers never told you that you are doing a good job, keep up the good work, know that you are still worthy.  If no one ever tells you that you are worthy and that they are proud of you, tell yourself that you are still worthy.

You have to be the person that you needed to hear those words from, so don’t look outside of yourself for your self-worth.  It is called, “self” worth for a reason.  Tell yourself that you are proud of you.  Tell yourself that you are worthy.  Repeat after me, “I am proud of myself.”  “I am worthy.”  Then, believe it.  If you’re still not convinced,  accept me telling you that today on behalf of  Everyone that you wanted to hear those words from.  I’m telling You on their behalf that YOU ARE WORTHY and I AM PROUD OF YOU!   Believe in yourself and believe that you are worthy, because you are!
