We should appreciate the good people in our lives.  None of us are required to do anything for anyone else, with the exception of parents who have minor children.  Parents of minor children are required to take care of their children.  When you become an adult, you are required to take care of yourself.  At any stage in our lives, we have to be grateful for the good that anyone does for us, because they don’t have to do it. 

 

Show gratitude by words of thanks and acts of kindness towards people who are good to you.  You don’t have to wait for a special day to celebrate those who do good things for you.  Be grateful and show gratitude for their kindness towards you.  Good people are hard to come by, so be grateful for the good people in your life.  A card of gratitude, a word of appreciation, a thank you or a special gift showing your gratefulness and appreciation is an important way to let the person or people know that you recognize that they didn’t have to do whatever they did for you.  It lets him/her know that you recognize that they are not required to do anything for you and that you appreciate them for doing whatever they do for you.

When you think about all of the people who are not there for you when you need them, it should give you an appreciation and respect for the people who are there for you, even when you don’t need them.  Be grateful.  In your relationship, be grateful for every good deed that your mate does for you.  Don’t take them for granted, expecting him/her to do what they are not required to do.  No one owes you anything, so be grateful.    Don’t wait until after a person leaves you to show them that you were grateful for them, show them now that you appreciate them.  Be grateful.  Good people with good hearts are hard to come by.  Appreciate everyone who has ever done anything for you.  Be grateful.  Show him/her how much you appreciate them by your good deeds towards him/her.  Be grateful.
