This month, we are honored to celebrate the life of Stephen A., "Hollywood," Clement, Sr.  Stephen is a singer from Philadelphia, PA.  He is a proud father of two phenomenally talented sons, Singer, Stephen A. Clement, Jr., and NFL Champion, Corey Clement.

Stephen A. Clement, Sr., started out singing in several singing groups, notably Neva2Late, A Perfect Blend, The Ebony's, and the Stylistics Review.  In 2018, he decided to try out performing as a solo artist.  The talent grows strong in the family, almost every member of the family sings well.  Their talent is truly a gift.  I remember going to see Stephen Sr. perform live as he made all the ladies melt while singing, Love Won't Let Me Wait, one of his favorite songs by Major Harris.  Stephen was not shy on stage, had a keen fashion sense, and confidence that demonstrated that he knew how to work the crowd, hence where the nickname, "Hollywood," came from.

Stephen loved performing, and spending time with family, and friends.  He spent several years working at Verizon and in the transportation field, which he also loved.  The Clement family is known for three things, their bright smiles, caring hearts, and talent. On September 13, 2024, God called Stephen Sr. home to be one of his Angels.  He will truly be missed.  The funeral service was filled with much love and many memories.

 

We celebrate the life and legacy of Stephen A. Clement, Sr. Thank you for sharing your love, talents, and contribution to the world!  It is our delight to honor, celebrate, and remember, Stephen A. Clement, Sr. in the October 2024 issue of the Love Exquisite Magazine.
