Blending Eyeshadow
 

This month, we focus on how to properly blend eyeshadow.  Make-up artists can use different methods to create the perfect eyeshadow look on the eyes. Below is our suggestion to try when you apply your eyeshadow.
 

Step 1: Prime your eyelids with either a concealer or an eye primer using a blender.
 

Step 2:  Apply translucent powder over the eyelids, so that your eyeshadow holds up. (if preferable)

Step 3: Apply a transition color first (medium color like rose, or autumn colors) placing it over the entire eyelid. 

Step 4:  Apply a brown color eyeshadow as desired and blend it with a good blending brush.

Step 5: Place a darker eye shadow color at the end corner of your eyelid and blend well with upward brush strokes.

Step 6: If you are adding a glitter/shimmer eyeshadow look, apply a cream-based foundation at the center of your eyelid and above your top eyelashes, then with your fingertip apply the shimmer/glitter to that desired area.

Step 7: Reapply the dark eyeshadow at the end corner of your eyelid and blend well.

Step 8: Apply the glitter/shimmer underneath your eyebrow from the arch outward to the end of your brows.  You can use a highlighter if you do not want to use the glitter/shimmer to help accentuate your eyeshadow look.
 

Using a good eyeshadow brush for blending is essential as well.
