Stacey L. Florio was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA.  She was raised with the help of her Aunt Mattie Florio and her Uncle Frank Florio.  While growing up, Stacey loved to read and write and began writing love and life poems in her diary.  As a child, she was shy, however after studying dance and drama in high school, she broke out of her shyness.  Stacey enjoyed singing in the choir and performing at school concerts.  Stacey's creativity flourished when she was writing.  In high school, her communication teacher told her that she should write books and encouraged her to put her poetry in the school newspaper.  Stacey continued to write all the way up until her unfortunate passing last month with her son, Cedric's loving care and prayers of support with her as she transitioned to be with God.  Stacey died at the age of 55 on October 13, 2021 due to complications from Covid-19.

Stacey was known as a serial entrepreneur, who embarked on several different initiatives that include: acting, writing, sewing, crafting, herb consultant, and entrepreneurship.  I met Stacey at a book signing event and we developed a friendship out of commonalities, acting and writing.  I had the pleasure of working with her in the film, A Mother's Love and interviewing her as a guest on the Real Recognize Real Talk Radio Show.  She was always supportive, smiling, funny, and sharing jokes about her life experiences.  She found a way to laugh through adversity.  When she called you on the phone, you knew that before the end of the call, she would encourage you to buy the many products that she was serving as an ambassador for or to become the co-author of her next book.  Stacey wanted to see everyone that she met become successful.  She had a good heart, a helping spirit, and will truly be missed.

Before her untimely death, she went on to author and co-author books that are available on Amazon.com  Those books she co-authored are:

"Daily Dose of Direction for Women in Business: A 90 Day Guide to Direct and Guide Women in Business to Succeed,"
"The Purposed Woman 365 Daily Devotional,"

"Daily Doses of Declaration (Second Edition)" and
"Bounced Back on Purpose.
She is sole author of the book inspired by her grandmother, titled, "Sweet Matilda and Her Loving Ways."

The personal stories that she wrote about, gives you hope and encouragement in knowing that with God you can get through any tough times in life.  Thank you, Stacey, for leaving us with a piece of you in your books to be remembered forever.  We are so proud of Stacey and it is our pleasure to honor and feature Stacey L. Florio in the November 2021 issue of the Love Exquisite Magazine.  May you rest well in heavenly paradise, Queen.  Stay Flowing...
