The Empowering Word of the Month for May 2024 is, Blessings.

The breath of life is truly a blessing that we take for granted.  Most things that we do not pay for, spend a lot of money on, or often overlook are not looked at as blessings.  However, each day we get to wake up is God's grace, mercy and blessings that are bestowed upon us.  There are blessings all around us, it is a matter of perspective in how you perceive or define what a blessing is to you.

 

We have to learn how to appreciate the blessings in our lives; the people and the things.  We are not always appreciative of the fact that our lives could be a lot worst than what it is right now (and it isn't as bad as it could be or how it might have been in the past).  Count your blessings, because you are grateful for the breath of life.  You are blessed to live to see another day.  Some people did not wake up today, but you did.  Take every day as the blessing that it is, in spite of what you have or do not have.

Cherish the little things that people do for you and do not take them for granted.  It is a blessing to have people around you who have your best interest at heart and want the best for you.  When God sends you blessings, make sure you handle them with care.  If you feel that you don't have people who are blessings in your life, then it is time for you to be a blessing to someone else.  We usually are, what we need...a blessing.
