The NBA Playoffs continue....AND THEN THERE WERE #8

The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Brooklyn Nets to move into the semi-finals. They will play the Boston Celtics, who defeated the Atlanta Hawks. Joel Embiid is questionable for the first semi-final game due to a sprained knee injury he suffered during game 3 against the Brooklyn Nets.

 

The teams that are in the semi-finals are:  L.A. Lakers, who they will play will be determined.  The New York Knicks will play Miami Heat, and the Denver Nuggets will play the Phoenix Suns.

The NFL Draft began last month.  The Eagles have selected some really good players.  Looking forward to next season! 

THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES NFL 2023 DRAFT SELECTIONS:

The Philadelphia Eagles had 7 picks in the NFL 2023 draft. With those picks in the first round, the team selected DT Jalen Carter and LB Nolan Smith. In the third round, the Eagles selected Guard Tyler Sheen and DB Sydney Brown. In the fourth round, the Eagles selected CB Kelee Ringo. In the sixth round, the team selected QB Tanner McKee. With the team's seventh and final pick, the team selected DT Moro Ojomo.

The Philadelphia Phillies are in fourth place in the American League with a record of 15 wins and 13 losses. The team had a tough start.

The Philadelphia Union is having one of its worst seasons ever. The team is currently in tenth place in the Eastern Conference, after a stellar 2022 season.

The Philadelphia Flyers did not make it into the post season. Their final standings were 31 wins and 38 losses. The team is preparing for next season and I pray it goes better than this season.

Last month, Ryan Garcia fought boxer Gervonta Davis and lost the fight in the seventh-round.  The fight was ruled as a knockout, after Ryan took a hard body shot that he couldn't recover from.  Congrats Gervonta!
