The Empowering Word of the Month for June 2024 is, Importance.

The word importance is so important to everything that we do.  It is important, because everything that we care about should be approached with a certain level of importance.  Anything or anyone that matters to us should be treated with importance.  If something or someone truly matters in your life, you should express by your actions how important those things are to you.  If your time is important, you tend to spend it wisely.  If your money is important, you tend to invest it wisely.  If your job is important, you tend to take pride in the quality of the work that you produce.  If your mate is important to you, you tend to show him/her by your actions and words how important he/she is to you.  

 

It is essential to show how important someone is in your life, because it shows that you value and appreciate having them in your life, and you want to keep them there. If your family is important to you, you tend to show up for them and spend quality time with them.  If you are important to you, you tend to love and value yourself.  If your health is important, you tend to take better care of yourself.  All of these things should have a certain level of importance in your life.  

What or who is important to you, is not always the same for everyone in the world.  You might find that there are somethings or people who are important to you, but those same things or people are not as important to others.  What is important to you, you value and usually appreciate.  We prioritize what is important, and do not have a problem putting in the effort to do what is important to us.  If you do not know what or who is important to you, ask yourself, What do I find myself spending the most time doing and why?  When you do not prioritize people or things, you demonstrate how less important those things or people are to you.  Doing things of importance shows how important those things are to you.

 

If you do not make time to do what is important, it could show that you either lack responsibility, discipline, or that you do not care as much about what or who you do not focus your time and attention on.  So, if you have been waiting to apply for that new job, waiting to start that book, waiting to begin a new relationship, waiting to propose, waiting to go back to school, waiting to start a business.....don't keep waiting to do what is important to you!  Approach what and who you want with a certain level of importance, if it means that much to you.
