The Empowering Word of the Month for July 2022 is, Elevate.

In the beginning of the year, you had goals.  You even wrote them down and told yourself that there are things that you want to accomplish in 2022.  Well, fast forward, we are now more than half-way through a new year.  How are your plans working for you?  Did you start putting your plans in action or are you busy working on someone else's plan?  It is time to Elevate.  Elevate You!  Don't put yourself or your plans on the "back burner," because you are afraid to fail.  If you are not implementing the plan, you are already failing.  Steve Harvey said, "If you do nothing to work towards your goals, the only certain thing is that you will never achieve your goals."  You have to start focusing on you and what you want to do with your life, as well as how you are going to get to where you want to be.  It's time to Elevate!

The days are over when someone else did everything for you.  You have to take control of your life and make it happen for yourself.  Don't run to every party.  Don't always think you're living your "best life," taking several vacations, while your goals are overlooked.  Although, you made great memories living your "best life,"  you still haven't achieved your tangible goals.  Shift your priorities to what really matters, your Elevation.  If you do not shift your priorities to focusing on your goals and dreams, you will delay the progress of achieving them.  It's time to Elevate!

Shut down social media, turn off your cell phone, turn off the television and focus for a few minutes on YOU.  Look back at the goals you have for yourself that you wrote down at the beginning of the year and ask yourself, "How much progress have I made working towards achieving my goals?"  If the answer is none, it is time to Elevate.  To elevate you will need to think critically about what obstacles and barriers are in your way.  Remove what you can remove and focus on your elevation.  Don't put it off any longer, it is time for you to Elevate.  You deserve it!
