Roe vs Wade
Since 1973, the Roe vs Wade Act gave women the right to choose to terminate their pregnancy. However, on June 24, 2022 (49 years later) the Supreme Court overturned this decision and now abortions are banned in most States.

Tuskegee Airman, Alexander Jefferson, passed away at the age of 100.

NFL Player, Jaylon Ferguson, passed away from causes not reported. He was 26.

Songwriter, Ken Williams, passed away at the age of 72 from causes not reported.

Actor, Philip Baker Hall, passed away after complications with Emphysema, at the age of 90.

Singer, Actress Julee Cruise, died from what is reported as suicide at the age of 65.

Legendary Journalist, Trudy Haynes, passed away at the age of 95 from causes not reported.

Songwriter, musician Jim Seals, passed away at the age of 79 from causes not reported.

Rapper, Trouble, was shot and killed at the age of 34.

NFL Player, Marion Barber III, passed away at the age of 38 from causes not reported.

Gospel Singer, Deborah McCrary, passed away at the age of 67 from causes not reported.

MAKE-UP TIP OF THE MONTH

Applying Make-up for Older Women

As we age, our skin's elasticity changes. It is important that if you use make-up, you apply a good moisturizer and primer to the face, prior to any make-up application. The purpose of applying the primer is to smooth wrinkles, even out skin pigment, and helps your make-up last longer. In addition to applying primer to the face, you can apply primer to the eyelids to avoid eyeshadow creasing. You can also apply primer to the lips to help your lipstick last longer.

After the primer is applied to the face, apply a good BB Cream foundation suitable to your skin tone. BB Cream contains SPF, which protects the skin as well as concealer. Then, apply concealer over top of your full coverage foundation. Apply the foundation to the center of your face and then apply to the jawline and blend outward using a make-up sponge.

The next step is to apply blush to the cheekbones in an upward stroke using a blush brush. Dependent on your make-up preference you can apply either lip gloss or lipstick to your lips and eyeshadow and eyeliner to the eyes, as well as shape your eyebrows using an eyebrow pencil or pomade.
