SELECT YOUR LANGUAGE

The Empowering Word of the month for January 2025 is, God.  A word that contains only three letters, yet a word that is so Powerful.  Whether you are a believer in God, a higher power, the universe, or a spiritual being, it is important to believe in something higher than yourself.  For me, God is everything.  I am a believer and I am not ashamed to say that.  Without God I am nothing.  I used to try to do everything in my own strength, until I learned how to rely on the strength of God.  I can admit, I am not as strong as God is.  Nor, am I that knowledgeable.  Ask God to reveal to you what He wants for you in 2025, sit still enough to listen. 

 

If you look over your life and you check His track record of how many times He changed your situation around for the better, you learn how to trust in God.  When you are a believer, let Him lead you. God will not let you down.  There might be situations and circumstances that happen in your life that you are displeased with.  Some situations we cause, and some are caused by others.  We have to understand and accept that in life, there will be good and bad days.  The good days happen to help you develop gratitude, and the bad days help you to develop wisdom and resilience.  Be thankful for both good and bad experiences, and continue to trust and believe in God, despite your current circumstances.

You do matter to God and God hears your prayers, and will answer your prayers according to His Will for your life; not necessarily your Will for your life (unless it Is in alignment with God’s Will for your life).  Everything that happens to you, happens for you…for you to either grow from, or help someone else in a similar situation get through trying times too.

 

God is all powerful and all knowing.  He knows what is best for you, so trust Him.  I no longer want what I want for me.  I want what God wants for me.  In the game of life, we cannot play on both sides of the field, we have to pick a side.  You are either with God, or you are without God in your life.  Know the difference between who you are serving, by your actions/behaviors.  Who are you going to let lead you?  Which side wins?  What does God mean to you?  What does your life mean to you?  God is everything to me.  I consult with Him consistently.  When I don’t always listen (I’m human), God teaches me the lesson and I later learn that I should have listened to God.  God is real.  God is love.  God empowers.  Trust Him.  Believe in Him.  There is a God!  Thank you, God!
