Robin Clement is a Philly native from South Philadelphia.  She is an essential healthcare worker and a mother of twins, Anthony and Antoine.  She selflessly devotes her time to take care of her beautiful mother, Diane, and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and family.  Robin enjoys cheering on her favorite football team, Dallas Cowboys, and watching her sons play basketball. Robin also enjoys cooking and is quite good at it, so good that she should open up her own restaurant someday.  She has been known to host and cook Thanksgiving meals for the family, on occasions.  Robin has a great sense of humor, and an honest tongue that can cut you with words, if you mistreat her.  However, she’s a gentle giant. To know her is to love her.  People who are lucky enough to really get to know who she truly is, know that she has a good heart.  Robin holds a special place in my heart, not only because she is my beautiful cousin, but also because she opened her home to me when the alternative option was not my ideal.  I am forever grateful for her and admired her growing up.  She was one of the women who always had a job, kept her hair and nails done, dressed nice, and wore a lot of nice, gold jewelry.  In other words, she stayed, “Fly.”   

Robin went to school for Cosmetology and later began to do hair and nails.  Her hands are like magic, so I can easily see why the food she cooks is delicious.  In addition to cooking, she enjoys dancing as well.  She is always the life of the party.  Robin has a way with people and has held several positions in customer service.  She gives of her time selflessly and takes pride in helping others.  Robin, I love you and I am grateful for you and I thank you for being there for me at a time in my life when I needed it most.   

 

Robin is a strong woman.  She is much stronger than she gives herself credit for.  She has overcome obstacles that could defeat most.  Her resilience, strength, and good will is what I love and admire.  I want nothing but the best for you, Robin.  As you are reading this, know that You deserve it!  May God continue to bless you in this new year and beyond!  I am thankful to have Robin as my cousin and we honor her in our January 2021 issue of the Love Exquisite Magazine.
