David Lander, actor, died at the age of 73 after complications from Multiple Sclerosis. He is best known for his role as "Squiggy" in the tv show Laverne and Shirley. He also played in the movie, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

Natalie Desselle- Reid, actress best known for her roles in B.A.P.S, Eve, Cinderella, Set It Off, Family Matters and How to Be a Player, to name a few, died from colon cancer at the age of 53.

Thomas Lister, Jr, actor and former wrestler (Zeus), who played in the movies Friday, the Fifth Element and No Holds Barred, to name a few, died at the age of 62 from causes not reported.

Brandon Bernard, an African-American male who was executed by lethal injection at the age of 40 for his involvement in the murder of the Bagley’s.

Charley Pride, singer and former baseball player, died at the age of 86 from COVID-19.

Rafer Johnson, Olympic Gold Medalist died at the age of 86 from causes not reported.

John "Ecstacy" Fletcher, legendary hip-hop artist founding member of the group Whodini died at the age of 56, from causes not yet reported. He is best known for wearing his large "Zorro" hat tilted to the side and his piercing brown eyes. Whodini made great hits like, "Friends, One Love, Big Mouth, Freaks Come Out At Night," to name a few.

Adolfo Gutierrez Quinones, known as "Shabba Doo," actor, dancer, and choreographer died at the age of 65. He is best known for his role as "Ozone" in the hit movie, Breakin. He also appeared in Breakin 2 and Electric Booglaloo. He was previously married to actress Lela Rachon. No cause of death has been reported, but it is said that he was not feeling well the day before his death.

MAKE-UP TIP OF THE MONTH

SKIN CARE

This month our focus is on skin care. Before applying make-up to the face, you should first practice a good skin care regimen by using the following steps:

1. Make sure you wash your face with lukewarm water and a gentle moisturizing, cleansing soap or body wash (no fragrance for sensitive skin).

2. If you are already wearing make-up, remove your make-up with a gentle cleanser.

3. Exfoliate the skin with a gentle exfoliant with glycolic acid, which hydrates and helps retain moisture.

4. Use a good Toner with witch hazel extract.

5. You can also include an anti-aging serum with Retinol.

6. Use a good Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer day (light) and night (thicker) to add moisture back into your skin and avoid lines and wrinkles.

7. Avoid excessive exposure to the sun and use a good sunscreen with SPF-30 or higher.
