ALIGNMENT

Being in alignment with something means to be connected to a path today that leads to the direction in which you want to go in the future.   For example, if you want to be a doctor, to align yourself to this future, you want to go to college to study in the discipline that you want to work in, based on the type of doctor that you want to be.  It is also a good idea to volunteer or engage in a paid internship to get the working experience in the field in which you want to go, so that when you earn the degree and licensure you will have some experience that helps to prepare you to work in that career.

Most employers will look for your educational background on your resume and even after you have the degree, they will then ask, “Do you have experience?”  The internship or volunteering in the field of study will put you at an advantage to being aligned with securing a position in your field of choice, when you have experience as well as knowledge about the field.  Alignment is not only about career alignment.  It is also about being aligned with the right person in a relationship.

It is important to be with someone who shares the same morals and value system that you have.  The two of you who share the same morals and values, usually want the same things in life as well as in the relationship and are more willing to work together to achieve the same goals, versus someone who does not share the same morals and values that you have.  Alignment is like connecting the dots in a maze that leads to your happiness so make sure you and your mate are in alignment.
