MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY KWANZAA!

THIS YEAR HAS BEEN A SPORTS ROLLER COASTER RIDE, WITH ITS UP AND DOWNS THROUGH COVID-19. BUT WE MADE IT!!  ALL SPORTS HAVE RETURNED WITH STRICT COVID-19 PROTOCALS IN PLACE FOR ALL ATHLETES, PROFESSIONAL, COLLEGIATE, HIGH SCHOOL, AND RECRETIONAL SPORTS.  Let's get started....

NBA

The Philadelphia 76’ers are #8 in their division.  The team continue to fall short without Ben Simmons.  Ben continues to hold out in order to be traded and has not attended or played in a scheduled game.  Joel Embiid has missed some valuable playing time due to covid-19 or injury.  In his absence the team struggle to win games.  This is the first half of the season and with commitment and hard work from the team we can go into the last half on top.

LET’S GO SIXERS!!

NFL

The Philadelphia Eagles can’t catch a break or the ball!!!  The Eagles are currently in 3rd place in the NFC East with a record of (5 wins- 7 losses), below 500%.  The Eagles QB Jalen Hurts and Coach Serianni put the team in bad situations, not knowing when or where to throw or run the football.  Turnovers are the #1 achilles heel for the team.  All of the players must stay off. The I.R. list if we are expected to play in the post season.

The Eagles have a 23% chance of making it into post season.  We must defeat The New York Jets on December 5, 2021; Seattle must defeat San Francisco 49’ers; Dallas must defeat New Orleans; and the Minnesota Vikings must defeat Detroit Lions.

The Eagles Remaining Games:

12/5/21 New York Jets 1pm

12/19/21 Washington 1pm

12/26/21 New York Giants 1pm

BOXING

On Saturday, November 20, 2021, Terrace Crawford defeated Shawn Porter in a twelve round bout. Crawford won the fight with a 10th round knockout.  Crawford sent Porter to the canvas twice in the 10th round to end the fight.  Crawford has a record of 16 wins, 0 losses and 13 T.K.O’s.  Crawford earned 46 million dollars this fight while Porter earned $4million dollars.

On Saturday, November 27, 2021, George Kambosos Jr. defeated Teofimo Lopez in a twelve round bout.  This was the best fight I’ve seen in 2021 from the beginning to the end.  Both fighters put on a great fight, well worth the wait.  Kambosos secured the title along with all of Lopez’s belts, WBO, WBA, IBF, and the WBC Franchise Lightweight Championship.  Kambosos captured a career-high purse worth $1.5 million dollars, and leaving him with a record of 20 wins, 0 losses and 10 T.K.O’s.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT THROUGH 2021!

WISHING YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY KWANZAA!!!!!!!!!
