SPORTS TALK WITH COACH D

NBA

The Philadelphia 76’ers continue to deal with drama.  The James Harden drama.  Harden opted out of his contract in hopes to be traded.  During the off season the team didn’t trade James because they couldn’t find a package deal that was worth it.  Harden displayed his frustration with the team by stating at a basketball camp, “Daryl Morey is a liar, I will never be a part of an organization that he is a part of.”  The NB fines Harden $1,000,000.000 for his statement.

This feels like the Ben Simmons Saga all over again.  Listen, Harden is not the Harden of Houston.  I don’t believe he contribute to the team as much as he could.  The 76’ers front office really need to get it together and do a better job in fostering and building positive relationships with the players.  It’s just too much!!  Those tickets are not cheap and the players need to want it more than the fans and the coaches.  There is no need to coach talent.  Talent rarely needs coaching.  As a coach I delegate and watch them work.
