The Empowering Word of the Month for July 2024 is, Guidance.

 

​Guidance is defined as advice or information aimed at resolving a problem or difficulty.  It is also the directing of the motion or position of something. Despite how it is defined, I believe that guidance is not always about a problem or difficulty, it could be about ensuring that you are making the right decision, like choosing to take a good job or a better job suited for you. In life, we should always ask for God's guidance, because we do not always know the RIGHT steps to take.  The right steps are the steps that will ultimately lead you to a better future.   When we ask God for guidance, we should be still enough to listen for understanding about what direction He is leading us, and then be obedient enough to trust Him and listen.

It takes Wisdom to be guided in any direction, because you will have to think critically about every decision that you make in life.  Your decisions are extremely important to how your life will turn out.  Poor decisions tend to lead to a poor life.  Good decisions tend to lead to a better life. When we do not know what decisions to make in life, asking for guidance to help make decisions is best.   Because, we don't always do what's right, don't be afraid to ask for guidance.  

 

God, I ask you for your guidance in every area of my life. Help me to make the right decisions that will lead me to living a happy, more fulfilling, and healthy life, financially, in loving relationships, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, in obedience to your will, your way, and in my favor, but to your glory.  I am in need of your guidance, Lord, in Jesus name, I pray.  Amen.  The Empowering Word for the month of July is guidance.  Don't be afraid to ask for guidance.
