EMPOWERING MOMENT
WORD OF THE MONTH:

STRENGTH

The Empowering Word of the Month for September is Strength.

Strength is such a short word that holds much power; a power that some access easily and others have a difficult time accessing it.  However, strength is something that lies within all of us.  We just have to learn how to access our strength, especially through challenging times and bad experiences.  It is those challenging times and bad experiences that helps us develop strength.  The strength to overcome those challenges and bad experiences.

There are some people who let challenges overshadow their strength.  What you allow yourself to focus on, is usually what controls you.  If you focus on the struggles in your life, it will be difficult for you to access your strength to overcome your struggles.  However, if you allow yourself to focus on how you can overcome those struggles, you will develop the strength that you need to move forward to your better days.  No, it is not always easy to get there.  No, life is not always fair.  Yes, you will encounter all types of situations, people and experiences (both good and bad), but through it all, you must find your strength.  The strength to get up in the morning.  The strength to get out of the bed.  The strength to overcome obstacles.  The strength to move beyond your current situation.  The strength to endure life to the end.

We are equipped to do whatever we put our mind, energy, and time to do.  Don't become defeated or depleted by life's challenges.  Don't let setbacks, obstacles, and unpleasant situations destroy you.  You have the strength to get through whatever it is that you are going through.  You can do what you need to do, even if your strength requires you to remove yourself from the situation.  If it takes meditation to calm your mind, do it, especially if you do not want to remain in the struggle.

You are stronger than you think you are.  You have already overcome so much in your life that most could not handle.  You are still here.  You are strong, so tap into your strength and keep holding on.  Your better days are ahead of you.  Look beyond your circumstances and control what you can control.  Let God do the rest.  Be strong enough to appreciate the lesson you will learn from your struggle.  Your strength is your Will to live, have faith, hope, breathe, do, and love.

Stay strong, even when your faith gets weak; when your faith might waiver because of the wait to get to your other side of through.  No matter what, remember you are stronger than you think.  So, if your strength weakens at times that is okay, you can get back on track by focusing on the goals that you want to achieve in life and focus less on the obstacle or problem.  Be solution focused, because that is where your strength lies.  There is only one way to build your strength and that is to get through the tough times in your life.  Only You can make or break You.  It is okay to have weak moments, but your weaknesses should not become your lifestyle.  Always find your strength and Never give up on You.
